I hope I won't go to jail for this. Thanks. Frank, in general courts don't care much about when you incur new debt unless the lender files a motion about it. Whether this lender would do that depends on their policy (which we don't know) and how long it would be between the loan and your filing. The motion would be to make that loan (or loans) non-dischargeable. And no, you won't go do jail over it. I definitely recommend that you consult wit han experienced bankruptcy attorney in your area about your entire financial situation.
my wages are being garnished if i file for bankruptcy how long will it take for them to stop taking money from my check.
WARNING: This comparison rate is true only for the examples given and may not include all fees and charges. Different terms, fees or other loan amounts might result in a different comparison rate.
Minimum loan amount 2,001. Maximum loan amount 20,000. Maximum APR 29. The comparison rate is based on an unsecured enably personal loan of 10,000 over 3 years (which we do not offer).
The lender keeps your check and gives you cash less the fee they charge. On your next payday, you have to pay the lender in cash. You owe the amount you borrowed plus the fee. How much do these loans cost. A payday loan or cash advance loan can cost a lot. Even if you only borrow money for a week or two until you get your paycheck. For Example.
